Vanessa Caralyn Tan
Vanessa is a violinist, pianist, and music teacher based in Singapore. She graduated from the NAFA Diploma in Music programme and regularly performs in orchestras and ensembles. With more than eight years of teaching experience, more than 90% of her students have scored merit and distinctions in graded music exams.
Vanessa is currently accepting students (including adults) from beginner to Grade 8 for piano lessons, violin lessons, and music theory lessons at her Hougang studio. Lessons are customised to suit each individual student and do let her know what you hope to achieve e.g. learning for leisure, graded exams etc.

The studio’s baby grand piano (Hailun HG 151) is available for rent for practice or recordings when there are no lessons. Rates are $80/h for weekdays and $90/h for weekends. Congratulations to one of my violin students, Xi Neng, for winning 2nd prize in the Classical Violin Intermediate category at the Happy Music Festival 2021 (there was no 1st prize awarded)! She will be performing LIVE at the Post-Festival concert on the 19th of December! More details here.
